The 10-day show attracts hundreds of visitors daily and features temporarily erected garden vignettes, cooking demonstrations, gardening lectures and presentations and special appearances. Visitors also can bring soil samples for testing by master gardeners from the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Nassau County; the master gardeners also are on hand during the show to answer questions and offer advice.
